Kyoshi C.J. Mayo started the martial arts at the age of 4. He has continued his training and is currently a Hachidan (8th Degree Black Belt) in the arts of Kobayashi Shorin Ryu and Ryukyu Kobudo, under the lineage of O'Shihan Jerry Piddington.
Kyoshi Mayo is teaching a branch off of Kobayashi Shorin Ryu and Ryukyu Kobudo known as Beikoku Tamashii Shorin Ryu Karatedo and Kobudo.
Kyoshi Mayo is a member of:
-AKANA (American Karate Academies National Association)
-Head Coach for the Striking Stars Martial Arts Tournament Team

-USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Class of 2014
-Who's Who in the Martial Arts Legends Hall of Fame Class of 2017
-Kaizen Martial Arts Tournament League President and Head Arbitrator
Outside of the Martial Arts Kyoshi Mayo is married to his wife Katie, a father of 2 boys, and an U.S. Army Veteran.
Collins is is currently a Godan (5th Degree Black Belt) in the art of Beikoku Tamashii Shorin Ryu, under Kyoshi C.J. Mayo. Sensei Collins in a Veteran of the U.S. Marines.
Sensei Charles Toler is currently a Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in the art of Beikoku Tamashii Shorin Ryu, under Kyoshi C.J. Mayo. Sensei Toler in a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Sensei Toler lives in Montana.
Cosio is is currently a Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in the art of Beikoku Tamashii Shorin Ryu, under Kyoshi C.J. Mayo.
Sensei Kaden Mayo is currently a Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in the art of Beikoku Tamashii Shorin Ryu, under Kyoshi C.J. Mayo.
Sensei Ray Glasman is currently a Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) in the art of Beikoku Tamashii Shorin Ryu, under Kyoshi C.J. Mayo.
Sensei Keyera Dotson-Simonnet is currently a Shodan-ho (Provisionary Black Belt) in the art of Beikoku Tamashii Shorin Ryu, under Kyoshi C.J. Mayo.
